Davos 2017 Highlights: Jobs and the Fourth Industrial Revolution
Automation and digitization are having a seismic impact on labor markets around the world. But is it all doom and gloom, and what are the opportunities for creating new jobs? IDE Director Erik Brynjolfsson joined McGill University Vice-Chancellor, Suzanne Fortier, to discusss these topics. Brynjolfsson described a "sea change" in thinking about AI and automation and "tectonic changes" taking place in technology that are effecting the global economy.
