Some Simple Economics of the Blockchain

Christian Calalini, Assistant Professor of Technological Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Management at the MIT Sloan School of Management, explains the economics of Blockchain at a recent MIT ILP seminar. Among the changes he expects to see are the re-structuring of online verification costs, redefining the role of intermediaries, and new organizational forms and models.
