Lucy Hampton

Visiting Scientist

Lucy is a visiting researcher at MIT FutureTech from the University of Cambridge. Her research interests include the economic impacts of artificial intelligence and automation, productivity measurement, and meta-science. Before joining MIT, she was a research assistant at the Bennett Institute for Public Policy at Cambridge, where she studied the causes and measurement of the productivity growth slowdown and the role of the digital economy in this context.

She holds a BA in PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick.
