New Report: Key Insights from the 2017 Platform Strategy Summit

The rising influence of platforms is attracting attention from all corners of the globe. The MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy is pleased to present a report of the valuable insights offered at the 2017 Platform Strategy Summit, hosted in July at the Media Lab. Industry luminaries such as Google VP of Product Management Sam Ramji and VP of GE Global Research Danielle Merfeld provide actionable insights on the implications of platform-centered economics and management.

The Summit was co-chaired by Geoffrey Parker, Professor, Darmouth, and MIT IDE Fellow; Marshall Van Alstyne, Professor, Boston University; Peter C. Evans, Principal, KPMG, hosted by the MIT IDE, and sponsored by KPMG, Global Payments, BearingPoint, and Tencent Holdings.
