Rui Zuo

Postdoctoral Associate

Rui Zuo is a postdoctoral associate at MIT Sloan School’s Initiative on the Digital Economy. Her research focuses on the causal inference of AI personalization, using text as data. She is also interested in AI-powered policies, artificial intelligence application in public institutions and broader law & economics.

Previously, Rui completed their PhD in Economics at University of Texas at Austin, where she focused on evaluating the impact of algorithm use in the courts. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Mathematics and B.A. in Economics.
