Albert Scerbo

Director of Corporate Development

Albert Scerbo is Director of Corporate Development at the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy, where he leads corporate partnerships, revenue growth, and the development of new programs connecting MIT faculty, research and students with business leaders. He has helped launch major initiatives spanning generative AI, quantum computing, digital experimentation, and platform strategy.

Previously, Albert led development and external partnerships at Youth Guidance’s Boston office and spent more than five years helping scale the GreenLight Fund, a national venture philanthropy organization. Across his career, he has focused on building partnerships, launching new initiatives, and helping mission-driven organizations grow.

Albert graduated from Georgetown University with degrees in Government and Business. He has previously served as a member of the National Academy of Medicine’s Communications Advisory Group and as interim Board Director of East Boston Main Streets.
