Emma van Inwegen

PhD Student

Emma van Inwegen is a PhD student at MIT’s Sloan School of Management in the IT group. Her research is primarily focused on online gig work and using online labor markets as a platform for policy evaluation. Previously she was a researcher at the University of Washington Evans School of Public Policy & Governance, analyzing the effects of the Seattle minimum wage. She graduated from the University of Washington with an undergraduate degree in mathematics and economics.
