Howard Yu is the LEGO® Professor of Management and Innovation at IMD Business School, where he directs the Center for Future Readiness, and is also a Research Affiliate at the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy. His research examines how companies build new capabilities, navigate technological disruption, and sustain growth. He led the development of the Future Readiness Indicator, which assesses companies’ preparedness for change across industries. Yu is the author of Leap: How to Thrive in a World Where Everything Can Be Copied and received the 2023 Thinkers50 Strategy Award. He teaches in the joint MIT and IMD Future Ready Enterprise Academy and holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
