Nur Ahmed

Nur Ahmed is a postdoctoral associate at the MIT Sloan School’s Initiative on the Digital Economy. He is interested in Innovation, Technology Strategy, and Entrepreneurship, more specifically, corporate science and R&D disclosure strategy & the science of science. He examines the antecedents and consequences of firms’ pursuit of scientific research and voluntary disclosure of internal research in the public domain (e.g., scientific publications, patents). His current research program includes corporate R&D using Artificial Intelligence as an empirical context. Further, he examines the role of specialized assets like computing power and data in the AI innovation process. Nur received his PhD in Strategy from Ivey Business School, Canada.
