Sagit Bar-Gill

Research Affiliate

Sagit Bar-Gill is a Research Affiliate at the MIT Sloan School of Management and at the Initiative on the Digital Economy.

Dr. Bar-Gill’s research combines economic modelling and data analytics to understand the online economy. Her current projects examine the relationship between online environments and offline sales, seller dynamics and mobility in an online marketplace, and strategic expansion decisions in platform markets. Sagit was a Fulbright scholar, received two NET institute grants, the Polack fellowship for excellence in research in Social Sciences, and the TAU Faculty of Social Sciences award for excellence in PhD research.

Dr. Bar-Gill holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, and a master’s and a PhD in Economics, from Tel Aviv University.
